What makes a study at the Saar University?
The University understands their situation since its inception at the German-French border as an opportunity. Unique in Germany is the certificate for European powers, the Europaicum. History of the University
With a European perspective and with the merger of French and German educational traditions, the then bilingual Saarland University opened its doors in November 1948.
