The American College in Berlin

Students enrolling at Touro College Berlin are part of an exciting international institution of higher education which extends from the United States of America to Russia.
Breaking new ground, the first American college in Berlin is offering a Bachelor of Science program in Business Management and Administration: Management and a unique Master of Arts program in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance. Touro College Berlin is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in the United States of America and obtained state approved recognition in Germany in December 2006.

The Bachelor of Science major in management aims to develop leadership skills and to expose students to the tools used in the international business world. Touro believes that modern business managers must have superior technical and decision-making skills as well as high ethical standards. Instruction in the English language and small study groups train students to present themselves professionally and to negotiate fluently. This learning environment also fosters understanding of different cultures and prepares our students for their careers in todayís globalized world.

The Master of Arts program in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance aims to deepen historical knowledge and foster an appropriate form of remembrance through innovative means of communicating and educating about the Holocaust in memorials, plaques, film, speech, and rituals. The language of instruction is predominantly German.

One of our special features is the highly personalized instruction in small groups. Students benefit from a great deal of individual attention from their instructors. They have the opportunity to share their thoughts and be actively engaged in class discussions, receiving a personalized quality education that makes learning easier and more stimulating.

Touro College Berlin prides itself on fostering close interaction and support among students, faculty, and administrative staff. While the academic programs are demanding, there is still time for social activities sponsored by the Student Government. Elected annually, the Student Government represents student concerns to the administration, and sponsors a variety of programs and activities.
