Objectives of the course
Model study medicine Hannibal

1st In the model studies "Hannibal" is made from the beginning, the patient and his condition at the center of the training.
The course begins with an introductory week with the so-called preparatory course. Here are examples of patients the approach to the patient and the disease presented in the introduction. It tries to describe the different levels of the disease (molecular and cellular mechanisms, impaired function of organs, the psychosocial effects of the disease and the practical approach to diagnosis and therapy). The aim of the preparatory course is to make the students understand the role of different training content of the study, the medical profession.
Based on the experience of the first year of the model program will be in the future, the module "preparatory course" does not teach more than a big block in front of the other modules in the first four months of the first year.
