The Academy of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) Frankfurt am Main, Hesse only university for music, theater and dance. It trains musicians and music teachers, singers, composers and conductors, dancers, directors and actors. 60 professors and 350 lecturers teach students about 800.
Claim of HfMDK is at the highest level of training and to work for the cultural education. The close links with the cultural life of Frankfurt and the Rhein-Main region shapes the profile of the university, while the HfMDK works with over two hundred public events a year as a major cultural pulse.
The diverse artistic potential of the training is reflected in the over 20 courses, in which the HfMDK successful and practical forms. The courses are distributed oganisatorisch on three areas:
