The University of Ulm is a university with mostly technical sector of courses. The courses are broad, with varied career opportunities open to graduates. Individual training is possible through the selection of elective subjects, studies and theses, foreign languages, studying abroad at foreign partner universities and through the acquisition of additional skills.

The success of the University of Ulm is based on collaboration with industry. It includes the areas of research and development through their research institutes and several Steinbeis-Transfer-centers of the Steinbeis Foundation for Economic Stuttgart with one. Of these students will benefit also because of attractive places and interesting theses. A sophisticated training program for working adults and others round out the offer of the University of Ulm.

Worldwide increasingly scarce resources require a fundamental change in the relationship between economy, ecology and society. As a university for engineering, computer science and media, we prepare our students prior to this change and give them the necessary skills for future-proof and sustainable action with their life.
