The Fachhochschule Oldenburg / Ostfriesland / Wilhelmshaven was founded in January 2000 by the merger of three formerly independent colleges in the northwest. It has approximately 10,000 students the largest university in Lower Saxony. Despite the relatively high number of students at the five plants in Emden, Elsfleth, Leer, Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven there is still no ground operation. Characteristic of the five sites is their small size and personal atmosphere. Here, to know their students, "Prof".
