Our Financial Aid staff are available to answer your questions, to guide you with applications and forms, to provide information about assistance programs and to listen to your concerns about financing your education. We can help you in-person, telephone, e-mail, by fax or by mail.
We administer federal and provincial student loan programs, scholarships and bursaries; general and program-related bursary funding from money donated by the College, individuals, companies and other organizations.
In partnership with the provincial government, Financial Aid administers the Student Access Guarantee which ensures students in financial need have assistance to cover the cost of their tuition, books and mandatory college fees. This financial aid is provided through bursaries, scholarships and campus employment programs. Note: The Financial Aid Office, located in Ottawa, processes OSAP applications for the students of the Woodroffe and Perth Campuses. OSAP applications of students at Algonquin College in the Ottawa Valley Campus are processed by the Financial Aid Office located in Pembroke, Ontario .

MILITARY FAMILIES SENS FOUNDATION BURSARY - In appreciation for the outstanding contribution of military members to Canada, the Sens Foundation and sponsors of the Ottawa Senators Canadian Forces Appreciation Night, have generously established the Military Families Fund – Sens Foundation Bursary. This bursary will disburse funds to members and family members registering in full-time Algonquin College post secondary programs.
PLEASE NOTE: You will notice some of the bursaries have an * at the end of the description. These funds have been matched through the Ontario Trust for student Support (OTSS) with the provincial government and in order to be eligible you must be a Canadian Citizen and have been a resident of Ontario for one year prior to your application.
