About Video Symphony

Video Symphony provides professional-quality training in entertainment media production. Our students receive more than just a traditional class experience - they get the same equipment used by professionals, instructors who work within the industry, and extensive opportunity to work on real-world media.

Our students are well prepared to obtain a job and perform competently once in one. Video Symphony students experience a job - centric blend of working professionals, new career aspirants, and industry-veteran instructors all centered around a small class learning environment with lots of hands-on time.

For Career - Bound Students, newcomers to the industry, our mission is to provide Hollywood-grade training in editing and visual effects, a network of connections, and job placement.

Video Symphony's Certificate Programs are dedicated to this mission. Hollywood Entertainment Industry companies demand top-level expertise. Video Symphony Certificate Program students go forth as experts, often more knowledgeable than those already working with years of experience. That's because our instructors pass on their years of industry experience, and because every student gets plenty of hands-on time on professional-grade equipment to perfect the techniques they learn from the masters.

For Professionals already working in the industry, our mission is to provide Industry-Authorized Courses that upgrade and supplement important industry skills, to make them and their companies more successful. People from around the country and around the world come to Video Symphony for upgrade training.

Comprehensive Certificate Programs

Video Symphony's Certificate Programs are some of the most comprehensive editing, audio engineering, and visual effects programs available anywhere. Certificate Programs are intensive. they span from 10 to 18 months of focused learning and practical experience often including real-world productions. Each Certificate Program has been shaped to provide a broad scope of skills and practical experience. Such in-depth training ensures that graduates are sharp, confident and ready to launch.

Industry-Authorized Courses

Video Symphony's 30 Industry-Authorized Courses form the foundation of our Certificate Programs. These courses are available individually to working professionals to enhance and upgrade their skills. They are also included in our Certificate Programs. Our Industry-Authorized Courses span 8 to 40 hours. They have been developed by, and are certified by Avid, Digidesign, Apple, Boris, Adobe and other high-end software publishers. For each Industry-Authorized course, Video Symphony provides official coursebooks and a certificate of completion.


Financial Aid - FAFSA (Federal Student Aid)

More student aid is available to you than ever before at Video Symphony. Federal Pell Grants and Stafford Loans are now available to those who qualify.


Federal Student Aid (via FAFSA) and private student loans can help you finance all or most of what you need to invest in your education at Video Symphony. Most of our students have used financial aid to cover some or all of their education expenses. We help you succeed in following your dream so that you make sound decisions that contribute to your long-term financial success. FAFSA, federal financial aid, is now available to qualifying candidates for all three of our programs.

You will receive personalized financial counseling from our Financial Aid Director to tailor a financial aid package suitable for your specific needs. The financial aid process is easy and our Director and our Admissions Representatives will guide you through it. And, it is all free. There's no cost to you.
