Platt College
Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Ontario, United States- California

University description (as per official university website)

About Us

Since 1979, Platt College exists with one purpose; to create a workforce of professionals with the skills and training necessary to answer the needs of today's and tomorrow's workplace. Because our students receive the rigors of academic discipline as well as hands-on experience in their chosen fields, employers can rest assured they will hire a confident Platt College graduate who is well prepared and possesses valuable experience. In the long term, Platt College graduates not only gain a lifelong education, but the ability to make a significant contribution to their communities.

Platt College is one of Oklahoma's largest private colleges. Our growth has been steady and progressive due to our unyielding belief that each student is the most important person on campus, and our intrinsic value of every person's right to a marketable education.

Accept our warm welcome into the Platt College family, and be prepared for a life changing journey.

Financial Services

During the admission process, students seeking financial assistance will be required to meet with a financial services officer. Students who are enrolled at least halftime, show financial need, and continue to make satisfactory progress may be eligible for assistance. Platt College offers:

Direct and FFEL Stafford Loans: Direct Stafford Loans are available through the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program and FFEL Stafford Loans are available through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program. These programs offer subsidized, unsubsidized, and PLUS (for parents of dependent students) loans. For further information on these programs, contact the financial services office for recent publications from the Department of Education.

Federal Pell Grants: A Federal Pell Grant is an award to help undergraduate students pay for their education after high school. Eligible students may be awarded up to the maximum amount established by Congress per award year.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG): A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is an award to help undergraduate students pay for their education. Based on need and availability of funds, students may be awarded this grant.
