About MTI College

MTI College is a community-based institution serving the Sacramento area since 1965. MTI offers vocational training that is respected and produces graduates who are in demand by industry professionals. MTI College’s mission is to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for pursuing successful careers in the fields of information technology, law, business, healthcare, and cosmetology. Our graduates will attest that our mission is fulfilled continually through our extensive technical programs, equipping our students with the problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills for success in the workplace.

The student population that MTI College serves includes the community of recent high school graduates and adult learners in the greater Sacramento area. With a focus on continued education and adult learning styles, MTI prepares students for their future…

* Paralegal Careers
* Healthcare Careers
* Computer Technology Careers
* Business Administration Careers
* Cosmetology Careers

From its beginning, MTI established itself as the Sacramento area's leader in training individuals for successful careers. No other Sacramento area college has experienced the achievements that have become common to MTI. MTI has been voted the area's Best Vocational College, supporting its reputation for offering superior career training and education. MTI is also one of a select few colleges in the nation to have earned an American Bar Association (ABA) approval for its paralegal program. As our graduates know, and as you will learn when you become a student, MTI consistently leads the way in vocational training and education. If you are interested in preparing for a career in the Sacramento area in the fields of law, business administration, healthcare, computer technology, or cosmetology, discover the MTI difference for yourself by enrolling in one of our recognized educational programs of classes.

Financial Aid

MTI College is an eligible institution for state grants and the government financial aid programs. We understand that most college students depend on financial assistance in order to attend college. MTI College makes attending and your future career possible by offering government loans and grants. Based on your eligibility, you can opt to take advantage of the many financial aid opportunities available at MTI.

Financial aid counseling and funding are available through:

* Federal Pell Grants
* Federal SEOG Grants
* Federal Stafford Student Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized)
* Federal PLUS Loans
* State and Private Grants
* Federal Work Study
* Institutional Loans

Tuition Costs

Tuition is calculated based on the program to which the student is applying and the length of time that program should take to complete. Financial aid options are available to all students no matter what program they choose.
Tuition Reimbursement Options

As a regionally accredited institution, MTI College qualifies for most company reimbursement programs. Students should check with their employers about this possibility for covering the cost of tuition, as many students may be eligible for generous tuition reimbursement benefits.
Terms of Tuition Payments

Convenient terms, as well as tuition loans themselves, may be arranged for the student. A payment plan may suit your current financial status better than waiting until after you complete the program to pay back your loans. On the other hand, perhaps you need additional time before paying back your loans. Our financial aid office is available to help you find the most appropriate terms of tuition payment for your personal situation.
Veteran's Benefits

MTI College is an authorized participant in administering The GI Bill (the generic term comprising various education assistance programs administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs). The GI Bill provides benefits to veterans, servicemembers, and some dependents of disabled or deceased veterans wishing to pursue an education.
