CCC History

Training successful graduates for over 20 years!

Central Coast College was founded in 1983 with 20 students and two staff members, and had a single program of Typing and Data Processing.

Today, Central Coast College has an enrollment of 200 and employs 20 full-time and part-time staff, providing training in Computer Office Administration, Computer Specialist: Accounting, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Biller/Coder, Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician.

Central Coast College has remained under the same ownership and management, growing stronger with every year.

CCC Financial Aid

At Central Coast College, we strive to make career training highly accessible. There are many options available for financing your education. Our financial aid professionals are here to help you. First, they’ll guide you through the process of identifying appropriate grants and loans. Then, they’ll walk you through the application process and let you know about important opportunities and deadlines.

Central Coast College offers both state and federal financial aid programs for those who qualify. Among those programs are:

* Federal Stafford Loan (Subsidized and Unsubsidized)
* Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
* Federal Pell Grant
* Federal Work Study Programs (FWS)
* Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
* Cal Grants
* Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
* Approved Enrollment of Veteran’s Administration Students for Education Benefits

As part of the application process, you should apply for financial aid. Keep in mind that some aid is limited and is more likely to be available if you apply early.
