University description (as per official university website)

NCC is located in Papillion part of the greater Omaha metro area. Over looking the Omaha skyline, our new campus spans 80 acres of land, including more than 60,000 square feet of classrooms, dorm suites, student center, cafeteria and offices. There are also two, four-plex apartment buildings built in the fall of 2007 for our married students. And plans for a new gymnasium and cafeteria are in the works.

Papillion is a thriving community with a variety of opportunities for our students. Two miles from the campus is Walnut Creek recreational park with a walking path and fishing. Five miles away is a new outdoor mall - Shadow Lake- with a variety of shopping options and restaurants. Seven miles away is the heart of Papillion with more opportunities for recreation, shopping and dining.

Last names tell a lot about a person. Heritage. History. Nationality. At NCC, our last name- College- says a lot about our emphasis on learning and our value of the pursuit of knowledge. Thats why we offer a high-quality, broad-based education covering the arts, humanities, psychology and history- all from a Biblical world view. NCC offers three degree programs- a five-year Bachelor of Theology degree, a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree and a two-year Associate of Arts degree. All Bachelor of Arts degrees have a major in Bible (40 hours) and concentration in an area of the students choice.

Mission

From mission flows every essential activity. Every thought, plan, activity, word and step is energized and empowered when the soul is consumed with its mission for life.
The mission of Nebraska Christian College is to glorify God through the ministry of educating people at the undergraduate level for His work. Nebraska Christian College seeks to equip people who will know the Christ revealed in the scripture, and will present Him to their contemporaries.
Our desire to know Christ and to make Him known breathes life into every plan, course, conversation, ministry and extra-curricular activity of campus life. We seek to equip people who know the Christ revealed in the scriptures and will be able to present Him to their contemporaries.

A Legacy of Transforming Ministry.

When God moves, remarkable things happen. This has been true in the life and history of Nebraska Christian College.
Guy B. Dunning, a courageous yet unimposing preacher/musician, was transformed by Gods grace and captivated with the need for lost people to be presented the clear message of Jesus Christ. Young people throughout Nebraska found stability through his clear biblical teaching and made courageous decisions to become evangelists, preachers and missionaries.
It was within this environment that a group of people began to dream a courageous dream. Gathered in Wymore, Neb., they prayed that God would help them start a Bible College, an institution of higher education that would equip people to know Christ and make Him known with courage, clarity and compassion.
