Minutes from Manhattan, St. Francis College is the Small College of Big Dreams. With small classes taught only by professors, numerous internship opportunities and highly successful alumni who actively mentor undergraduates, students are offered a wealth of opportunities that will put them on the path to success in both their personal and professional lives.
For almost 150 years, the mission of St. Francis has been to provide an affordable, quality education to working class people who otherwise may not be able to attend college. Hundreds of successful graduates were the first in their family to attend college. Merit based scholarships that can include full tuition for graduating high school students with a 1200 on their SAT’s are the cornerstone of the College’s financial aid program. Additional partial scholarships for students with SAT scores ranging from 970 to 1050, as well as $3,000 and $5,000 academic achievement grants are also part of the generous aid packages. St. Francis College is proud of the diversity of the student body. Their international students come from all parts of the globe, including Eastern Europe, South America, the Far East and the Caribbean.
Majors at St. Francis range from classic liberal arts to pre-professional concentrations like Sports Management.The College offers 72 programs and majors from a five year combined Bachelor's and Master's Program in Accounting, to Sports Management to Communication Arts to Education and many, many more.
Students who are not Unites States citizens or United States permanent Residents may apply to St. Francis College.
Nearly 84% of SFC students receive some form of financial aid including, federal and state grants, federal loans and newly increased amounts in institutional scholarships. |
