IHCC is a two-year, public community college with a student population of more than 3,700. It is a multi-campus setting with campuses located in Ottumwa and Centerville, Iowa. The average class size at IHCC ranges from 30 to 60 students. Students are provided the opportunity to know their instructors and classmates on an individual basis.
Students may earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in many technical program, or an Associate in Art or Associate in Science in our Arts & Sciences program. IHCC is fully accredited and college credits from Indian Hills are transferable to four-year colleges and universities to earn an advanced degree.
IHCC has two main campuses - in Ottumwa and Centerville - and the original campus located at the Ottumwa Industrial Airport. In addition, Indian Hills has built County Service Centers in each of the county seat towns in the area that don't have a main campus.
More than 3,400 students are currently enrolled in the arts and sciences, technical education and health programs at IHCC.
