Located in beautifully rural southwest Wisconsin, Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, or Southwest Tech, is a comprehensive technical school of higher learning that offers excellent educational opportunities, a broad array of support services, and a student-friendly atmosphere.

- EMPLOYMENT
Federal Work-Study Program (FWS). During the school year, employment opportunities are available to students based on financial need. Eligible students who are enrolled at least halftime, have filed the FAFSA, and have completed a separate work-study application available in the Financial Aid Office. Only a limited number of community-based jobs are available at any given time. Summer work-study positions are also available. Students must plan to attend the Fall Semester or be attending college in the summer to be eligible for summer work-study.

- SCHOLARSHIPS
Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Foundation, Inc. The Southwest Tech Foundation offers numerous scholarships each year. Scholarship applications are available in the Financial Aid Office from late October to December. A selection committee meets in January to review applications and select scholarship recipients. Southwest Tech hosts its annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony each spring to present the scholarship awards and to recognize the recipients and donors. |
