| Scholarships or student grants program description |
There is no application form for the University of Aberdeen European Union New Accession States Scholarship and students commencing full-time undergraduate degree study in September 2009 are eligible to receive a Scholarship. The Scholarship is a one-off Scholarship valued at £500 for academic year 2009/2010 with payment made in late February 2010, based on entry in September 2009.
You should note that only undergraduate applicants from the new European Union Accession States listed below, and who are classified as Home Fees, are eligible to receive a Scholarship

To be considered for a University of Aberdeen European Union New Accession States Scholarship you will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen, via UCAS, for full-time undergraduate study commencing September 2009 and you must be from one of the countries listed above (either nationality or resident for the period required to meet EU citizenship).
To be awarded a Scholarship you must receive and then firmly accept an offer of admission, either conditional or unconditional, of a place at the University of Aberdeen, commencing September 2009. The University of Aberdeen European Union New Accession States Scholarship can only be held by students of the University - it cannot be transferred to another institution. The Scholarship will only be paid towards the end of February 2010 if you are registered as a student and studying at the University of Aberdeen.
