These awards include:
1. James Fairfax-Oxford Australia Scholarships
2. College-linked awards: University College Old Members' Scholarship, Magdalen College Oxford Australia Scholarship and the Ian Wilson-Magdalen College Scholarship
Applicants should normally be under the age of 30 on 1 January in the year in which the scholarship is to be taken up. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with first or upper second class honours or equivalent from a recognised university.
Value
A grant towards living expenses of AUD$12,000 p/a.
James Fairfax-Oxford Australia Scholars are also awarded a University of Oxford bursary, which covers the University fee at UK/EU rate and the College fee.
Up to AUD $10,000 p/a may be awarded by the successful applicants' Australian university but this is subject to negotiation by the Committee each year.
