| Scholarships or student grants program description |
This scholarship was established by Sue Manchester’s parents not only to honor her memory, but to also encourage the same love of music and enthusiasm for living that she demonstrated during her short life. The student must be a freshman pursuing a music degree and have a minimum high school cumulative QPA of 2.50. The student must demonstrate outstanding musical aptitude as well as academic excellence. Musicianship and performance ability demonstrated in applied lessons, ensembles, and student recital performances will be considered in making the award. Financial need may be a factor.
The Edinboro University Chamber Players perform throughout the tri-state area during the academic year, and numerous formal concerts by faculty and students are presented in the newly-renovated Louis C. Cole Auditorium on campus.
