Scholarships or student grants program description
JOHN CHARLES ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP,established in 2007 by John Charles to benefit a student interested in a career in assisting mentally challenged individuals. Applicants must have an interest in special education, counseling mentally challenged individuals or Nursing specializing in caring for mentally challenged individuals. To be eligible for scholarships, applicants must have: ! Full-time status is equivalent to enrollment in 12 or more credits per semester. ! This application can also be obtained on-line by visiting www.luzerne.edu ! Applications must be received by the LCCC Foundation Office prior to April 15th. Applications are accepted from January through April 15th for award in the Fall semester. Awards are disbursed as follows: ! the award will be credited to the student’s account with the Business Office in the fall semester and the remaining balance will be credited for the following spring semester. !
