The Nursing Careers Scholarship
First Year Nursing Students
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to students enrolled in the Corning Community College Nursing A.A.S. program. Six (6) scholarships will be awarded to eligible first-year students, renewable for four (4) semesters.
To be eligible, a student must:
Be enrolled as a new entering full-time (at least 12 credit hours) student in Corning Community College’s Nursing Program
Have a high school average of at least 85% (Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and completion of at least 12 credit hours per semester if renewing scholarship)
Have a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file in the CCC Financial Aid Office
Priority will be given to graduates of the Campbell-Savona School District who are accepted in the Nursing Program.
Campbell-Savona School District graduates are encouraged to apply even if their high school average does not meet the above stated average.
Award Amount:
Up to $3,800 per year
