| Scholarships or student grants program description |
Offering a broad range of sports, Dickinson State has a tradition of developing outstanding student-athletes who are winners in their competitive academic and athletic endeavors.
Our athletic teams are affiliated with the eight-member Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC), the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA).
The Blue Hawks compete in football, volleyball, men and women’s cross-country, men and women’s basketball, wrestling, men and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, men and women’s golf, baseball, softball and men and women’s rodeo.
The involvement of the Dickinson State intercollegiate athletics staff with students extends beyond the boundaries of competition, as coaches and administrators take on the roles of teacher, adviser, and friend.
Dickinson State provides excellent coaches, trainers, and athletic administrators who have one goal in mind -- to see student-athletes reach their fullest potential. The involvement of the Dickinson State intercollegiate athletics staff with students extends beyond the boundaries of competition, as coaches and administrators take on the roles of teacher, adviser, and friend. Dickinson State's state-of-the-art equipment and top quality sports facilities will give you the ability to refine your skills and obtain that extra winning edge. In the Dickinson State intercollegiate athletics program, student-athletes come first. They are the reason we have been a success, and they are the reason the tradition of excellence will continue for years to come.
