International Summer School on Banking and Finance in Transition Economies
June 17-24, 2012
Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics
The academic program offers high level courses on economies in transition and consists of a compulsory teaching block on various aspects of inancial
economics in transition economies and an elective block either on investing in Russia or Russia's financial sector.
All courses are held by distinguished lecturers, all of them experienced in transition economies. The course work is accompanied by visits to firms and institutions settled in Saint Petersburg.
The fee for the summer school is 750€ (950€ for non-academic participants). Discounted fees apply to students from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance and Ghent University.
The fee includes:
Registration, Courses, teaching material, accomodation in the university’s guest house, breakfast, five lunchs
and social events (excursions and welcome dinner).
The organizers reserve the right to cancel the summer school if the number of students is deemed insufficient, or for other compelling reasons not later than April 20, 2012. In this case received payments are fully refunded.
