An Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Conference

A forum for the arts, media and social sciences
Presentations are welcome from fields such as politics, philosophy, anthropology, religions and theology, geography, sociology,
criminology, psychology, literature, history, classics, translation studies, linguistics and social linguistics, visual and screen
studies, and the performing arts.
Possible themes include:
Cultural and economic regeneration
Reinvigoration, rebranding and recycling
Fashioning new identities: new styles, new genres, "new politics"
Progress, direction, innovation
Development and practice of novel research methodologies
Abstracts of 250 words are invited for presentations of 20 minutes. The event will provide a friendly environment where postgraduates can gain experience, make contacts and discuss ideas. The conference also formally publishes an edited volume of the best papers presented. Participants not wishing to present are also welcome.
Abstracts must be submitted on our abstract form by 28th May 2008
