Announcement follows

On behalf of Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation the new educational program is announced, open to all interested alumni of TFAS and GAAEC programs through especial arrangement.

The Department of Mediterranean Studies of the University of the Aegean organizes from July 31st to August 6th in the Greek island of Rhodes the first International Summer School titled "Security in the Mediterranean: Old Conflicts and New Challenges".

The Summer School functions under the auspices of the University of the Aegean and in association with the Greek Association for Atlantic and European Cooperation (GAAEC) and the Fund for American Studies (TFAS) Washington D.C.

The program is designed for senior undergraduate and graduate students (already enrolled in a Masters/PhD program) from Universities in Greece and abroad, in the fields of political science, law, international relations, security and 'area studies'.

Costs - Fees

The fees for the summer school amount to 330 euros. The program provides a full package which covers:
◦ Accommodation (Luxury 5 star hotel)
◦ Breakfast
◦ Bouffe Dinners
◦ All Coffee Breaks and Light Lunches inbetween morning and afternoon sessions
◦ One Hosted Lunch and One Ceremonial Farewell Dinner
◦ Study material
◦ All transfers and social activities within the island
