The Summer School
The Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School is jam packed with workshops, masterclasses and ensembles designed to improve both your guitar playing and appreciation.
This week is perfect for any guitarist from a Trinity Guildhall Grade 2 level of playing and up, and is not suitable for the absolute beginner.
This is the first Summer School for classical guitar held in New Zealand since the early '90's. Taking place in picturesque Taranaki we are sure you will be inspired to greater heights in your playing and performance.
Though we will not be doing any accommodation booking on behalf of attendees, we would like to recommend two places which will give Summer School attendees a deal on their facilities.
Upon booking, you need to mention the New Plymouth Guitar Society's name and that you are attending the Summer School in order to get a deal.
Both are located close to Highlands Intermediate School. We have visited the premises and we are happy to recommend them.
