Turkey at international platforms
To participate:
► Your original ideas
► What did you do for Turkey?
► What do you expect of 10-year-later future of Turkey?
► How successful is Turkey at international platforms?
Topic:
►All topics about international issues which are related with Republic of Turkey and
its citizens directly (Internal, international politics, education, environment, etc.)
Who can participate?
► All people under 26 years of age. (born in 1982 or later)
Format and length:
►Your essays must be maximum 2500 words (approximately 4 pages)
►Your essay must be written with 12, “Times New Roman” and 1,5 line space.
►The language of your essays must be English.
► Your references must be cited in your essays as appropriate and also a separate
reference sheet must be submitted with your essays.
How will I submit my essay?
► Deadline for submission of your essays is April 8th, 2007, 17.00. Your essay must
be sent to unatr.youth@gmail.com .
► The e-mail subject should be “ESSAY COMPETITION” in capital letters
and in the body of the message your personal information must be written.
► Your personal information must include your
◙ Name and surname
◙ Occupation
◙ Age
◙ Other associations or NGO you are affiliated to
◙ Address, phone and mobile phone numbers
Rules:
► Deadline for submission of your essays is April 8th, 2007, 17.00.
► Each participant can only submit one essay
► Participants must be under 26 (Born in 1982 or later). There is no lower age limit.
► Your essays must be maximum 2500 words.
►Your essays must be written in English. Essays written in Turkish will not be accepted.
► A separate reference sheet must be submitted with your essays. Your references
must be cited in your essays as appropriate.
► Your essay must be original and previously published essays will not be accepted.
► Participants who submit their essays, give the right to publish the essays to UNA Turkey.
► The decision of the Jury is final and is not subject to an appeal.
► Writers of the winning essays can not demand any other award related to their success.
