Announcement follows
The Telecommunication & Information Technology Research Institute (TITR), a research strength at the University of Wollongong, conducts leading edge research in future communication technologies, multimedia processing and management, security and interactive learning technologies. We are looking to fill a number of PhD positions in the area of Wireless Mesh networking, Virtual MIMO and Cooperative Diversity. The ideal candidates will have all/most of the following qualification and experience.
Essential Selection Criteria:
*Bachelors Degree in Computer or Telecommunications Engineering with 1st Class Honors,
*excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, wireless networking & MIMO,
*ability to program in C and C++,
*excellent communications & presentation skills,
*ability to work as part of a team and individually.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
• experience in Algorithm development
• experience working with simulation software such as QualNet
• research experience in wireless communications.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD26000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid unspecified for the period of 3 years.
